a quick glance how peiling has spent the past few days- pointless post but ah well whatever la. reflections of year 2006 soon. a stupid post before a nice reflective one. perfect combination!
christmas night. the cousins gang went down to orchard yesterday after all. stayed there for an hour or so to watch the performances. then went over to jason's house to slack. watched dvds went down to the pool and i got dunked- and the 30 bucks in my pocket got wet. david was like "let me help you dry them" and he ended up tearing them. water polo player's too strong to handle fragile things eh haha. so byebye to the 30 bucks, until david returns me the money. =D ended up reaching home at 4+.
wednesday. went to foochow to bring the drums/ pipes back to rg. played the guitar for a while with elissa. wanted to pipe but didnt in the end. after that was the horrible party, "babysitting" mummy's friend's daughter. she's 8, and she's an irritating whiny brat. the line between being cute and irritating is thin, and she happens to cross the line. "peiling jiejie play jia1jia1jiu3 with me" "peiling jiejie i want to eat hello panddaaaa go and buy for me plleeeeasssseee" and the like. didnt help that i was tired so i wasnt as tolerant as i usually am. haha kor dropped by though with adrian because they were on their way to orchard, and rescued me for uh 45 minutes. but it was really funny.
kaien: korkor, korkor play with me!
adrian: [high pitch] okay okay i shall play with you!
kaien: let's play jiajiajiu!
adrian: okay okay! [turns around to us] what the h*** is jiajiajiu?
and he ended up being the dad, which was uh so wrong. adrian rocks la, he's so funny.
yesterday. combined band outing. it was okay pretty fun actually. building some funny kingdom which elissa limmy waiian and i gave up eventually, leaving vic and val to complete it haha. played beach volleyball [well rather hit it over the net twice. i think our record was what four times? before the ball drops to the ground] in the rain for a while. then it got heavier so went in. attempted to do drill with waiian but lol gave up. bridge is a game you can never get sick of, reminds me of renew. refresh. regenerate when we played card games all throughout the night. lunch then bowling. not bowling for ages resulted in me getting a total score of 50 which is like -.- super loser. i mean my bowling never rocked but 50 is just ugh. brandon dude you scared me yesterday okay, went aunty amy called me i was so worried. i managed to not look worried and as though nothing was wrong, but seriously, i was so afraid something happened. and on your brother's birthday! dont do that again dude! went to jon's house after that. bathed there and the moment i finished bathing and i was happy because i was clean and dry, i got dunked like !!! let me enjoy being dry for half an hour la. but it was really fun, we had our own emo concert. and we made our audience- namely byron and only byron the birthday boy happy. blessed 18th birthday byron! may you find a new girlfriend soon, go into the army and be a man and uh, live happily ever after. used jon's comp for a while and went home to change and we went to the esplanade well yeah again. i think we are in love with the esplanade. but really, the esplanade at night is nice.
today. ccao. went for my shift. didnt do much, and was quite sad that it wasnt free and easy time for the sec1s so we couldnt go around pulling sec1s to the booth. we could only stand there and talk to them for a few minutes when the groups came around. went bowling with limmy after that. it was really ex, 2.50 per game. and we played 3 games, because we were trying to pass time until the supposed batch lunch and one game only took what 15-20 minutes. i always loved bowling but never had the time to go. highest score today was 78 i think. which is bad too, but better than yesterdays. i think the older i get the lousier i bowl. i know the last time i bowled 2 years ago in beijing with my cousins in my uncle's club i did much better, a lot more strikes/ spares. but oh well. batch lunch/ discussion ended up having only 6 people- me elissa yunxi shihui waiian delia. wasnt exactly productive, actually it wasnt productive. but oh well. kor went for his class gathering so mummy jie and i went to parkway to eat dinner. now im back. i think mummy and daddy are going to the beach later. i feel like going to, but it'll be so extra. maybe i can go to one end of ecp and they go to the other. =D but nevermind! beach tomorrow anyway with the guys. (:
ive been feeling lethargic. i think the lack of sleep is taking its toll on me. wonderful when schools reopening on wednesday.
